Join the Episode #112 slay-ride! It’s Silent Night, Deadly Night!

“He knows when you’ve been naughty…”

It’s HYSTO? Episode #112, and we’re getting into the holiday spirit by covering the oh-so-controversial 1984 film “Silent Night, Deadly Night! This holiday slasher is famous for being the first Killer Santa Claus movie!

I mean, except for 1980’s “To All A Good Night”...

The PTA and other groups were enraged when this film came out, mostly because of the TV ads that showed a Killer Santa Claus with an ax. Parents were shocked that someone had actually made a movie with a Killer Santa Claus, I mean, no one had done that before…

I mean, except for 1980’s “Christmas Evil”…

We had a very festive time discussing this Christmas slasher classic…who wouldn’t? Well, I guess some of the angry parents who made sure this movie got run out the theaters wouldn’t have had fun, but you have to understand that NO ONE had EVER made a movie with a Killer Santa Claus before…

I mean, except for 1972’s “Tales Of The Crypt” featuring Joan Collins being attacked by a Killer Santa Claus…

Naturally, we also talk about what has been keeping us entertained lately (The Queen’s Gambit, anyone?), and Keith announces what movie we will be covering for our 5th Annual Christmas Special (AND he announces our special guest)!

We hope you join us for our movie party, because we really do want to know…

Have You Seen This One?
