Episode #53 Welcomes Keith Karseno & Hedwig!

Hedwig beehive’s it up…

Hello HYSTOphiles! As we embark on our third year of movie-madness I also get to welcome a new co-host: Keith Karseno! No one can replace “Brooklyn Paul,” but I can tell you right now we had a blast recording this one, and I can’t wait to see what the future brings! But, let’s get back to #53…

It was my turn this time around to choose, and I know Keith doesn’t really like musicals, so I picked the 2001 rock show Hedwig And The Angry Inch. It’s such a unique story, and I knew Keith had never seen it, so I thought it would be perfect…

This ain’t no Disney flick…

Written by, directed by, and starring John Cameron Mitchell, this one is unforgettable. At least think so. What did Keith think? You know I’m not going to tell you! Listen in to find out…

Gender bending at its finest…

…and, of course, we also talk about what’s entertaining us lately, what movie we’re watching next time (Keith’s first “official” pick!), and we say hi to Kellie and the guy that used to be my co-host (Peter? Saul? What was his name?).

(jk Paul: we already miss you, buddy.)

Won’t you join us? Because we really want to know HAVE YOU SEEN THIS ONE?

EPISODE #52 IS OUR 2ND ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL!

Hello HYSTOphiles! We are celebrating two years of Have You Seen This One? and we have some very special guests to mark the occasion! Our good friends Kellie Arnold and Keith Karseno are joining us for the party and, as a change of pace, Paul and I let THEM pick the movies we watched.Kellie was up first, and her choice for us was the 2001 horror hit The Cabin In The Woods. I’ve been wanting to spring this one on Paul for a long time, so I was happy to hear she picked it. In case you haven’t seen it, the plot centers on five young people that are planning on a fun weekend at a cabin in the woods…

Surely nothing bad could happen to these attractive people…

I absolutely love this meta-horror-comedy, and I can’t wait for you to hear what Paul thought of it. It’s so funny in some scenes, but also very scary and violent in others. I know what you’re thinking: “Did Paul get skeeved out?” Well, you know how to find out…

Next up was Keith’s pick, the 1988 flick License to Drive, starring The Two Coreys. Corey squared had just done Lost Boys, but this time around they are stars of the movie. Oh joy…

Mr. Feldman personally chose his wardrobe for this film. A lesson in what not to wear…

This cinematic masterpiece also features the first film appearance of Heather Graham (see above). So, did I get out of my dreams and into Keith’s car? Listen and you’ll know, my friends…

Afterwards, the celebration continues when I force give Paul a quiz about all the 113 movies we have covered (hint: it’s very All About Eve focused). Paul shares a pretty major announcement, I mean really, really major. After that I present him with a very sexy Jeff-Goldblum-themed anniversary gift. We also announce our movie pick for episode #53. It’s all a lot of fun, and it doesn’t cost a cent to listen, so why not join us? I mean, we really want to know……
