#63 – The Bird With The Crystal Plumage – Argento’s First Film!

Hello HYSTOphiles! We’re back, and I’m so excited to be back in giallo territory! Our film this time around is Dario Argento’s very first, The Bird With The Crystal Plumage

Virtually everyone’s expression when they first hear this title…

It’s the story of an American writer who witnesses an almost-murder one night while walking home. He becomes an amateur sleuth, and we get to go along for the ride. As in most gialli, the murderer is disguised and wears black leather gloves. And, as in all of his films, it is the director’s hands you see on screen in these scenes…

Ladies and gentlemen, Mister Dario Argento…

I couldn’t wait to see what Keith thought of this Italian classic…and I can’t wait for you to find out too! You can count on us talking about what’s been entertaining us lately and what we’re covering next time around. We hope you can join us because we would really like to know…

Have You Seen This One?
