Hello there, HYSTOphiles! Episode #82 is here with the 1960 rip-off classic western film The Magnificent Seven.
The film starts Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, and a slew of great actors that went on to big things after this. (Well, most of them did.)
I had never seen this film, but I knew it was considered a remake of the Japanese classic The Seven Samurai, which I had never seen either…until now!
It was great to be able to compare the two films, and we had a fantastic time talking about Magnificent Seven, ESPECIALLY because our great friend Erin Casteneda joins us for the fun!
