Welcome back, HYSTOphiles! We are here with Episode #124, a classic 70’s film: Don’t Look Now, directed by Nicolas Roeg.

Starring Donald Sutherland & Julie Christie

Episode #123 – Hoosier daddy? 1986’s “Hoosiers” starring Gene Hackman!

SINK THAT BALL, HYSTOphiles! (Wait. Was that the correct sports reference? I never know…)

Hello, and welcome to Episode #123, where we discuss the baseball film…no, wait, basketball film Hoosiers, starring Gene Hackman, Barbara Hershey, and, in the only Academy Award nominated performance of his career, Dennis Hopper!

Yes. That Dennis Hopper. But not that film…

Now, this is a film that I have heard a great deal about but, obviously, have never seen. While I famously don’t like movies about sports, I was happy to hear that Barbara Hershey was in it.

Again: right actor, wrong film…

Set in the 50’s, this movie is supposed to be based on a true story. Uh huh. Heard that one before. I also heard that Mr. Gene Hackman thought this movie would be a bomb…

No. I mean yes that’s Gene Hackman, but this is from The Poseidon…oh forget it…

As usual we also discuss what has been entertaining us lately, and our good friend Knives Monroe shares his Top 5 Movies Of All Time!

We really hope you join our movie party, because we really do want to know…
