Welcome to Episode #176, HYSTOphiles! We are jazzing things up this time around the 2014 Damien Chazelle film Whiplash! When Keith first said we would be discussing this one I had mixed feelings: I really like the work of both the director and actor J.K. Simmons, but the clips I have seen from this film didn’t have me drum-rolling to see it…

Naturally we both share what’s been keeping us entertained lately, and (with great joy) I tell Keith what is store for him next time around in Episode #177 (Hint: you’re Bound to be surprised!)

(UPDATE: we are going to put a hold on Bound and save it for another, special episode. Our next film, instead, will be the JAWS inspired ALLIGATOR! With Special guest Erin Casteneda!)

Greetings, HYSTOphiles! It’s time to delve into the world of David Lynch, so of course we have to start with 1977’s Eraserhead!
